Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this tailor made, four foot long, removable chape guard. This is gonna wrap around your one and a half inch to two inch diameter dock line. It's gonna help protect not only the rope from rubbing up against the edge of your dock, but it's also going to help protect your boat from having the rope rub up against it. So this is a nylon material.
It's got a hook and loop connection here, so you can just open that up. We're not gonna have to disconnect our dock line to get this installed. Just open it up all the way down the line here. Then on the inside you'll be able to see we've got two different sets, we've got hook and loop closure. So depending on how wide our diameter of our dock line is we can either set it to work with this one here or roll it up onto that shorter one.
Or we can roll it up this wider one here and have a wider diameter, so that we'll work on there. This is a 10 50 dinner, black, nylon. So it's gonna be very durable and flexible, you are not gonna have to worry about maring of your boat at the paint or gel coat, it's gonna do a good job of protecting all that. It is four feet long, and when we have it in it's rolled up form like this, it is right about two inches in diameter. This is made here in the USA, so you can trust.
